Welcome to Seoul, the city never sleeps. The rep. of Kim's Travel will greet you as soon as you come out. First, we transfer to Haemi Martyrdom Holy Ground (Yeosutgol). Haemi
Hamei Martyrdom Holy Ground is the site where nearly 1,000 Catholics in Chungcheongnam-do were buried alive during the time between the Byeongin Persecution in 1866 and 1882. When they were confronted with their death, the martyrs prayed while singing 'Yesumaria' (Jesus Maria) but it sounded like "Yeosumeori", after that the place was called 'Yeosutgol' to local people. And then you will reach Yeoju Green Village to experience Korean Kimchi making and korean traditional costume (Hanbok) wearing; then guests will visit the Ginseng center to have a chance to taste Ginseng Juice. After Yeoju, we depart for Seoul.
Good morning! After having breakfast at your hotel, we go to Gyeongbokgung Palace, a royal palace of Chosun Dynasty built in 1395. After that, here, visit National Folk Museum, which uses replicas to illustrate the history of traditional life of Korean people. If you come out from palace, you can see Blue House, official presidence house of Korea. Also, to experience Korean health care, move to Ginseng center, Bokanyeong(Korean Herb center) or amethyst factory. Finally, for your shopping, drop off at shopping district.
※ Please make your way to Seosomun Park, which is 10 minutes away from Seoul Station (Exit 2). It is a sacred place for many Korean Catholics who were persecuted during the 19th century who introduced Catholicism in Korea. The memorial tower in the center of the park is for the 44 martyrs who died for their Catholic faith during the persecution. Pope Francis visited the park on 16th of August, 2014.
